The delightful countryside is neither flat steppe nor dense forest. The welcoming owner, Annie Luna, is a native of the area and an excellent cook. Her grandfather Sebastian, the first dentist in the region, built the estancia in 1927 and named it after his father, Rolo. Annie's French mother never adapted to this inhospitable life, so remote from the city lights. Her daughter was the exact opposite and, despite studying in Buenos Aires, always knew that she would return. There are two unpretentious rooms for those who are interested in the farm work, sheep-rearing and their very special sheepdogs.
