NEUQUEN
Cabañas Andinas.
Lago Lolog, Neuquén d esigned lodge for
fishermen and lovers of tranquillity, Guspar Schroh's cabins now number
17. They are situated at the head of the Rio Quilquihué, which flows
into Lake Lolog, a wild stretch of water that can become quite fierce
when there is a wind. On the other hand, when there is no wind the
lake is a glory to enjoy, almost in private, on one of Gaspar's launches.
Walks, pony-treks or endless after dinner conversation in the restaurant
with guests and neighbours, are all to be enjoyed. At the other end
of the Lake lives Karl Moritz, a meticulous artist exclusively dedicated
to painting bird species.

Rincón de los Andes.
San Martín de los Andes. This is the Rincón Club complex in San Martin. It sits in tile mountains right below El Peñon that has now been renovated and turned into the club teahouse. As in Rincón del Este - the sister complex in Punta del Este-everything in Rincón de los Andes is designed to make sour stay pleasurable. The atmosphere is very amiable, the service is friendly, and the place is spotless. Besides the time-sharing system, they offer accommodations to the Public in their apartments, with maid service either daily or weekly, and breakfast or full board aptions. There are excellent excursions available for both guests and the general public.
Los Techos.
Villa La Angostura, Neuquén. It is three years that this classic hotel "for skiers" opens its doors in summer too.
Located at the Chapelco mountain it also offers the oportunity of enjoying the brand new "Adventure Park". Its cozy cabins are one of the best alternatives for mountain lovers.
Lomas del Correntoso.
Villa La Angostura, Neuquén. Large, well serviced cabins and apartments ideal for families. The size of the accommodations and the helpfulness of the staff make this suitable for those travelling by car. The in-out swimming pool, paddle and tennis courts, and the variety of excursions in all directions: the myrtle forests, Victoria Island and pony trekking through the lenga and coihue trees, all ensure a pleasurable stay.
Las Balsas.
Villa La Angostura, Neuquén. A full sized doll's house in a unique location: the banks of the Nahuel Huapi Lake. Las Balsas is the only Relais & Chateaux hotel in Argentina and holds its title with pride. There are 15 rooms, 11 with views of the lake and, in order to pamper its guests even more, a full-blown spa has been added. It includes a sauna and plunge pool that continues out onto the wooden sun deck, very nearly out over the lake itself.
La Posada.
Villa La Angostura, Neuquén. The greatest advantage of this inn is that it was built at the foot of the Nahuel Huapi, taking the glorious view into account. The main salon, dining room and several guestrooms all give on to a terrace, which includes an excellent swimming pool and the wonderful lake behind. The pleasure of being able to sit in the easy chairs with a good book overlooking the peaceful scenery is priceless.
Puerto Arauco.
Villa La Angostura, Neuquén. Perfect cabins to be near and yet afar; a reasonable distance from the busy centre of Villa Angostura, but at the foot of the Nahuel Huapi. The extraordinary location and high quality of the furnishings make it a unique choice for those who prefer the privacy offered by this type of accommodations. There are six cabins which have been built progressively and of different sizes. We recommend the more recent ones, which are fully equipped, have excellent bathrooms and very reasonable dimensions. Ideal for fishermen and water sports lovers.
