CALAFATEHOW DO I GET THERE BY PLANE? El Calafate has an international airport, built a few years ago, which is located just 18 kilometers from this city. It occupies a surface of 14,700m2 and has a runway of 2,500 meters long by 45m broad. There are Boeing 707 and other planes of similar size destined to domestic flights. The airlines that provide services in the area are Aerolíneas Argentinas, Southern Winds, Lapa, Dinar and Lade, although just the first one offers regular flights during the week.
