BARILOCHE THE "FRANCISCO P. MORENO" MUSEUM OF PATAGONIA It was opened by National Parks in 1940 and is located on the east side of the Centro Cívico. It took the name of the person who toured round and explored the Andes and the Patagonian rivers and who donated these lands to the Executive. Later, this area became the first National Park in Argentina. There are several halls of natural sciences, ethnography, prehistory, and regional and local history.
