CAMPING IN PATAGONIAThis activity is no longer left for young people. People of all ages and social classes take their tents either on their backs or in the car to closely interact with Patagonian air. During the summer, camping grounds all over Patagonia are packed. There are also free-camping areas, i.e. without any services. Recommended Places The Seven Lakes Route This is undoubtedly "the" camping site in Patagonia, a privileged area between San Martin de los Andes and Villa La Angostura. There, any corner by the lake or the mountains is good for putting up a tent. Traful, Hermoso, Correntoso, Falkner and Lacar are among the most popular camping sites. Junin de los Andes: Lake Huechulafquen The "pointed" Lanín volcano frames its waters. On the north bank there are both free and organized camping grounds. Aluminé: Lake Moquehue With beautiful free camping areas. |
